LOCATION:  Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce

REGISTRATION:     Begins at 9:15 a.m. Please check in at the Registration Desk.  Be sure to allow enough travel time to accommodate traffic and public transportation delays.




INTERVIEWS:Half-hour interviews begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.  Interviews are held in a function room containing tables with chairs.  Tables are spaced close together; the noise level can be high, and there will be lots of visual distractions.  Be well prepared and stay focused on what you want to say.




OPEN SLOTS:Interview slots occasionally open up due to last-minute cancellations.  Should a recruiter choose to fill an opening on the day of the program, this will be announced in the student waiting area prior to the interview time.  Resumes will be collected, and the employer will make a selection.  In addition, employers who did not receive enough resumes to fill a schedule may collect resumes and choose candidates in this "open-slot" fashion.

LUNCH:     Lunch is on your own.  
Employers will be breaking for lunch from 12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  



MISCELLANEOUS:



• You are responsible for your own lodging, food, and transportation.



• Ask for a business card or get the name, correct spelling and title of each recruiter and send a thank-you letter after the program..



• If an emergency causes you to cancel your interview(s), call Career Development Center at Bucknell (570-577-1238) immediately; the information will be forwarded to the ERC coordinator.






     
Driving Directions - From points South I-95 North:
•     Take I-95 North past the Philadelphia International Airport following the signs directing to the Broad Street Exit (just past the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard). Take the Broad Street exit going north and follow Broad Street for about three miles. The Bellevue will be on the left on the corner of Broad and Walnut Streets.



Train Directions:



•     Take the R3 line from Swarthmore to Suburban Station (ride the train past 30th St. over the Schuylkill to the next station).  Surburban station is at 16th and JFK Boulevard.  From there, follow the map (on the back side) to walk to the Bellevue Building at 200 South Broad Street.  The Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is located within the Bellevue.







Parking:  
•     Parking is available at many locations along Broad Street.  There is a parking garage in the Bellevue building (on Broad Street) but can be rather expensive. The Double Tree Hotel has a parking garage and is located one block up near Spruce Street.  There is also a valet parking garage across the street.




Enter the building from main entrance off of Broad Street.  The elevators are located in the main lobby; take the elevators to the 7th Floor.  The Chamber of Commerce is located on the 7th Floor.
